Teddy.

I do like a sentimental film. I've told you this I know.

One of my particular favourites is AI: Artificial Intelligence.

At the time I liked it so much I thought i might pick up a spot of memorabilia.

Top of the bill was Teddy the super toy. Had to get my grubby mitts on one of these beauties.

Have you seen it?


Ted was the the real hero.

His voice was perfect. (And what a great actor)

Up there with Fozzy, Yogi, Sooty and the Hair Bear Bunch. (but not Grylls - I don't rate him.)

Unfortunately after trawling ebay and eventually getting Teddy the reality didn't quite match up….

He (he!?) has the same voice actor recording (great) but only says daft things like 'I need a hug' and 'it's cuddling' time' (very bad)

Maybe I should have sold him - (he was going for 500 bones a while back) but i just can't bring myself to do it.

So there he will sit. Saying childish things when you poke him in the solar plexus.

Until the batteries run out.
