MicMacs.

1 minute review.

Saw this after a firm (yet yielding)
review from the maestro Dickie D.

Tip top with a top tip that man

'MicMacs'

Do you like Amelie? Like colourful films (not movies) with oodles of quirky scenes, inventions,  explosions, contortionists, international arms dealers, cardboard boxes and gangsters? Look no further. This one is for you.

This chap Jeunet, along with Wes Anderson, makes the type of films that I want to live in. Rich colours, numerous details, romance and unexpected laugh out loud moments. The sets are so intricate and fascinating. The dialogue sharp with no excess nonsense.

I have a film called 'Happenstance' starring Audrey Tatou which is billed as Amelie 2 on the cover.
Micmacs' is better and more worthy of that crown in my humble opinion.

Give it a try if you are at a loose end.
