Hello again. You working out? Looking good out there.
We are off to Italy soon.
Every year I stock up on clobber and products for my summer stock inventory.
Soon I will be publishing the year's list of what I will taking with me.
I'm currently in the pre-contemplation stage.
A fair bit will have to be be side-lined but the short list will be killer.
Here is a taster….
My love of the finer details is known.
A parcel came through yesterday. Easily the best packaging and presentation I have ever had from an on-line shop.
Attention to detail? Appropriate luxury presentation? In spades.
Thank you Mr Porter.
Crispy clean white hard box.
Individually wrapped in black tissue paper.
Sealed with a printed label with my name on it.
The receipt came in a personalised envelope with a card.
Inside was a sewn, monogrammed 'Mr P' hankerchief.
No extra cost for any of this.
Lovely. Lovely. Lovely.
Now is this vulgar, ostentatious, unnecessary, consumer-monkey-ish?
Probably.
I'm getting on a bit now. I like what I like. Haven't got the time to worry about the politics. I do my bit for society so i'll have a bit of luxury and distraction back please.
Aesop skin products.
Even the Aesop wash bag has an inner inscription.
(Of special interest to you Mr Cantona)
Now I have a face for radio. I know. You may well think you can't polish a tu$d. You may well be right.
I however still like a bit of product. My wash bag will be extensive. This Aesops stuff seemed decent.
Found it, bagged it, bought it.
Full field report might follow.
Amberg travel wallet.
Nice and trim. Thanks Bill.
I only carry two cards, 1 key and notes. Ideal.
I'll post up a few photos of this beauty closer to the departure date.
Can't use it until then you see.
Rules n'all.
Adios.

Excellent. Imagine finding that little quote In your wash bag. Although I'm not too sure of the relevance to facial cleaning products? Unless it takes off a couple of layers of skin in the process, "hang on...... I'm black?"
