The 'classic' swap.
# 4
I gave Tim: Daft Punk 'Homework'
He, in turn, gave me: Fat Freddy's Drop -
'Based On A True Story'
Unfortunately it was bound to happen.
Didn't really like this too much at at all.
Inoffensive and pleasant at times but not my cup of tea.

The best:
The first track built up nicely on a chirpy piano riff. Some decent bass lines throughout and a couple of tunes that made me turn up the volume. Some decent drifty guitar strum alongs but that's about all I can muster.
The worst:
It just went nowhere.
It just went nowhere.
A bit bland and directionless.
Ambitious and musical but they don't seem to focus on anything for more that a few moments.
The term that keeps coming into my mind is barbecue music. I could imagine it playing it in a garden somewhere just drifting along in a diet cod reggae fashion.
I'm guessing that this would bring back happy memories of a time and place.
We all have treasured albums like that.
Sorry Tim; I did give it a good go. (Pia loves it though).
A generous 5 out of 10.
I'll give it another spin when surrounded by sausages and lager.
