Easter.

Sitting comfortably? Hold on tight. Prycer's going sort you out.
Going to take you through an early saturday morning with his good self.
Come with.
Awake. Fuss cat. Parsley is always to my right next to pillow. As soon as he realises I am awake he gives it the full purr. He's still under the weather with an occasional sneezing fit.
Double espresso from the nespresso machine. Half sugar (down from 1). Gone for the Columbian this morning. Tang.
Take coffee back to Pia in bed (she doesn't agree with the lad-di-da machine stuff). Likes a Nescafe instant. Sergio always berates her for this but she is having none of it.
2 Weetabix with a 3rd chaser. (well it is a weekend). Semi skimmed. Satsuma. Cloudy apple juice.
Shower and a shaving. How much detail you want? (It's all about them after all). Clinique soap. Clinique happy antiperspirant. Quite subtle this stuff. I normally go for a neutral one. I think a chap should only be niffing of aftershave, not several clashing pongs.
CDG 2 aftershave or ADP.
Take medication. 175mcg thyroxine. 600mg ginseng. (For ninja skills).
Clean teeth retainer. I'm not paying big bones to have my choppers straightened only to cruelly neglect them.
Shave - fresh blade for the weekend. Noxzema (yellow) Cocoa butter foam. The best of a great bunch. I know some of you like the green foamy variety but I feel the yellow is on a more discreet tip. Nasal hair sorted. Nails trimmed to a acceptable standard. (Hate caggage on wool and the like)
One of my bucket list desires is to have a full wet shave, hot towels, switchblade the lot. Have ear and nasal hair burnt by a large, friendly, Turkish man in a floral shirt. (that doesn't sound right does it. Never mind).
Moisturise (Clinique M lotion).
Haircut. shaved. Number 1.5. No major choice here. Matt or gloss is all have.
Wind watch. Always clockwise. Should only just feel a spot of resistance.
What to wear:
M & S crackers. Universal works socks (dark blue with white flashing). Edwin ED39 Selvedge denim jeans. Supreme x Neighborhood T shirt. Panerai 111 watch with Toshi custom strap. All fresh off the peg. Laundered and ironed to perfection.
Hugo Boss glasses. Can't wear those Armani reactolite rapide things. Need a new pair soon.
Wallet: Red Moon. Nearly past the muddy ageing stage and sliding nicely into a rich tan patina. Another year I'm estimating before full effects.
Bag: A Bathing Ape leather shoulder bag. iphone in Leather LUX case, wallet, Midori leather notebook and pen. Mints. Glasses case.
GlerupsDK Slippers in the house (i'm no savage). Saves on collateral sock wearage.
Pia also adamantly opposed to sweaty paw prints on her floor. Oh how we joke that I should be using monkey bars on the ceiling to avoid walking anywhere in my own home…..bah.
Outside manoeuvres : Add Engineered Garments anorak or Folk Eno jacket if conditions not too inclement. (I took the leather straps off the ENO before washing and oiled them with Obenuafs leather wax by the way).

Folk Eno pocket strap detail

No drizzle so bring out the Yuketen D Ring moccasins. Comfiest shoes I have ever had. Absolutely no question. Yes, I may well like like chief dances like a dad but I don't care. Love them. May have to start adding in my secret leather treatments soon. Will need at least 2 hours to give these treasures the attention they deserve.
I believe, as the hip finger poppin' daddies might say, I am 'fixed up sharp'.
Second double espresso. Will clean machine out later. May need a de-scale treatment.
Fire up the music centre. I always like to put a bit of thought into the first record of the day. No problems today. Track of the year so far: Dr John 'Big Shot'. Loving this album.
Do my sums after looking at bank account. I have two. I like to keep my main total at an even number. I.e in denominations of 10. I transfer any odd amounts into a separate account. This then becomes the 'loose change' off shore Barings account. I know what you are now thinking. You are right.
OCD? Ha. You talk the talk but do you....?
Haircut. shaved. Number 1.5. No choice here.
Matt or gloss is all have to work with.
Music choice: Ian Dury & The Blockheads - 'New Boots and Panties" (Norman Watt Roy; Hero)
Was going to brush Parsley but risk for fur factor on garments too high. Later boy. Pia is up by now and is cooking him fresh fish & lamb. (I had weetabix - who is the chump in this family?)
Spot of shopping now:
Sainsburys. You know I am obsessed with Nectar points? No? I'm obsessed with Nectar points. I now have 23,722 or full bones value of 118.61.
Take Pia to train station.

She is using one of my many cases of course:

She is off to Rome to visit Sergio. I am now home alone. I intend to relax.

Drink coffee and some tasty beers.

Watch a box set.

Try to make sense of it all.

I may even have a foxy vodka.

Maybe read this (looks like my kind of tome):

Tim visits with his two rather splendid kids. He brings me a hand made compilation C.D. Limited of course. We sit. We drink good coffee. The conversation is good and righteous. He is part of the solution as it were.

Will listen to this CD later on. Will be aces as always.
Planning my return disc to him as I type.

I appreciate all your kind wishes for me in this very difficult time of Pia being away. I will strive to look after myself and pamper myself to the very best of my abilities.

Gifts and food parcels to the usual address.

Blog ends for day.

Have a great Easter break everyone.
