Boat.

I have just bought half a boat.

Honestly.

A boat.

Fibreglass hull. Floats. The lot.

Been quite a day of firsts.

A 14 foot cuddy.

Went half-sies with the boy Buckweeds.

Impulse purchase but in view of my new found restoration skills a prudent one….

All we need know is a patch of land to put it on whilst we restore and rebuild it.

We intend to do it piece by piece, strip the woodwork down. Varnish. Learn knots, sing shanties and navigate by the stars. The whole nine yards.

As soon as I finish this post I am going to buy a hat and insist Pia whistles me into the front room every time I come home.

I will post up pictures when I get them.

Never mind. It promises to be a lot of fun.

Aye aye all.

Captain Haddock.

P.S I would like it to be known, before it goes viral via the Daily Snail, that said vessel cost £250.00 and probably has more holes than your average doughnut shop.
