Saturday.

A time capsule-type snapshot of a saturday.

It has been sunny for the majority of the day.

Finished the boat trailer this morning with Buckweeds and Mr Jolly. 

Took it over the lock up and put the boat back onto it. 

A real sense of pride and achievement. 

We are now ready for phase 2. 

We are going to take the boat for pressure washing then the painting, engines and woodwork can all be sorted out. 

We are aiming for mid summer for the launch. 

A select V.I.P few will be invited for the launch and maiden voyage. 

We are planning a big picnic with alcoholic perks.

I have cleaned the Dakota suite from top to bottom. 

I have placed all C.Ds in alphabetical order and ensured all my books run in size order down from left to right on each shelf. 

All notes in my wallet are folded correctly and run in ascending denominations.

I'm sat upstairs tapping away on the imac. 

I am wearing Levis Big E selvedge denim jeans, An Acronym T shirt, Beams+ socks and a Panerai 111K.

I have a Cherry Tree cola and a home made bread roll at my side.

My cat is asleep behind me on the gin and tonic recliner.

Pia is downstairs making fresh bolognese sauce and pasta. She is gently singing along to something that Liza Tarbuck is playing on her radio 2 radio program. 

Earlier she made a rhubarb and apple crumble. 

There are two ciders waiting in the fridge alongside this sublime dessert.

We will eat outside in the garden.

I will be apple daft by 7pm.

'Treme' will be watched during the early evening.

I will shower before retiring to bed. 

I am happy.
